If only renewing your motor insurance was more straightforward, we can explode those myths and guide you through the hoops as painlessly as possible. Our car and motor insurance is designed for the benefit of pharmacists, their immediate family and staff. Accidental damage, courtesy car, personal belongings cover, breakdown assistance and recovery are just some of the benefits, which our motor insurance policy provides for all of our clients.
Before we go into detail regarding our motor insurance policies, we have provided you with some detailed information regarding car & motor insurance, in order to help you create the perfect insurance policy for you.
As you may know, having car insurance is a legal requirement by the UK Government since 1998. It is also important to make sure you have the right level of insurance cover, which provides financial protection in the event of your vehicle being damaged. Our car and motor insurance policies will also provide cover for injuries to other drivers, passengers or pedestrians, and their property – in the event of an accident. These accidents can happen, so it’s important to make sure you and your family are covered financially.
If you don’t have motor insurance, you could be fined or disqualified from driving. The maximum fine is unlimited and you will also receive six to eight penalty points on your licence.
There are three levels of motor insurance cover you can choose from – Third Party; Third Party, Fire and Theft; and Comprehensive insurance cover:
This particular type of motor insurance is the bare minimum, which is required by law. But third party isn’t always the cheapest level of motor insurance. This particular type of covers injuries to other people and damage to others property.
This is the same as third party cover, but this also covers the cost of repairs or a replacement vehicle, if your car is stolen or damaged by fire.
This is the highest level of motor insurance cover you can get. It protects you against damage to your own car, as well as accidents involving other people. This can also include a courtesy car and legal expenses insurance; however this may be at an additional cost.
As part of our insurance policies, you may also be allowed you to add named drivers (family members & friends) to your policy – who can also drive your car.
